Our Story
We met in college. Tim was the cute, quiet, smart guy who always raised his hand in class. Mollie was the outgoing, hardworking, friendly face at every campus event. Senior year Tim was Editor in Chief of our student-run media organization and Mollie was Senior Class President of student government. All of a sudden, we were spending a whole lot of time with one another. Mollie started to grow very fond of Tim's ambitious spirit, creative mind, and OF COURSE, his dad jokes. Tim grew fond of Mollie's care for everyone around her and her ability to make everyone in the room feel seen and loved. Still, Tim didn't make it easy! In fact, Mollie asked him on their first date to Bareburger in early October of 2019! Tim said yes and was secretly over the moon that the girl he liked shared his feelings. By November of 2019, we were absolutely inseparable and we made it official.

Excited about our blooming relationship, we planned to visit Disneyworld for Spring Break as part of our college's leadership program! Unfortunately, the universe had other plans and the trip was canceled...along with the rest of the school year. Optimistic as we are, we decided to pivot to a staycation upstate to a random little town called Hudson, NY. We picked it because it was cheaper than the cabins in the Catskills, but still close enough for a good hike and we had enough gas to get there! We absolutely fell in love with this precious, historic town. From the thrifting to the hiking to the historic architecture, it felt like "us" and it has been "our place" ever since.

Almost four years later, we have been through so much together. We have held each other through the most heartbreaking losses and celebrated each other through the most incredible wins. We have traveled all over the country, exploring new places. We have become a part of each other's families. Through an abrupt end to our college experience, to graduating, to new jobs, to the loss of loved ones, to annual family trips, to making new traditions of our own, and everything in between this doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of all of the amazing memories and incredible moments we've experienced, both together and with each of you. We can't thank all of you enough for being a part of our lives and creating these moments with us because through all of these experiences we grew, both as individuals and as a couple. We were shaped into the people we are today.
Everything we have been through led us here. And by here, we mean back where it all started: in Hudson, New York on a hike up to Kaaterskill Falls, where Tim got down on one knee, asked Mollie to be his forever, and she said "of course!".
We're looking forward to all of the adventures up ahead. This is just the beginning of our story.
